Frona Elkes – Chairman of the Board
Frona Elkes’ career history includes being a tenured Professor at St. Petersburg College, and an Interpreter and Teacher with the public School System. Frona currently works with Sorenson Communications, benefiting the Deaf Community and is a Health Advocate with doTERRA.
Frona has her Master’s Degree in Deaf Education and American Sign Language.
Her heart is in the Deaf Community and volunteering her time there. Frona is a fifth generation Florida native. She spends her spare time with her extended family and traveling.
Frona has served since our inception as Chairman of the Board volunteering and giving passionately to O2B Fun, Inc.
Terri Kilgore – Vice Chairman of the Board
Terri Kilgore, is a native of Defiance, Ohio, who has lived in the Tampa Bay area since 1982. Terri is a Registered Nurse (RN) for 40 years, with the majority of the time in the operating room. She currently works at Bay Pines VA Hospital and was employed at Morton Plant Hospital. Serving her hospitals as a Clinician II and specializing in open heart surgery. Terri has been a member of the American Operating Room Nurses Association (AORN) most of her career. Terri has also served since our inception as Secretary and now Vice-Chairman of the Board.
As a Vice Chair of the Board, Terri passionately serves to increase scholarship awareness, fundraising needs since inception. Terri has one beautiful Daughter, Gretchen and one handsome son Garrett along with her Siamese cat.
Donald Moore – Board Secretary
Donald currently fills his days as an Author, Entrepreneur, and Photographer. He states he is a “boomer” who has lead a full live in areas like: telephone lineman, printing press operator, carnival worker, construction worker, flight instruction, truck driver, water softener and vacuum sales. Donald is proud to be a Safety Harbor Resident with his Beautiful Life Partner Cathie.
Donald has volunteered for O2B Fun, Inc. for many years before joining the Board of Directors as our “token male” board member since 2019. Recently in 2025 Donald became our Board Secretary and he states laughingly that he enjoys long walks on the beach at sunsets, beer and anyone with a real sense of humor. PS Donald is twice published author and quite the read in both books where his humor shines through as a story teller!
Christine Ashley – Board Member
Cristina Ashley, has a broad background in healthcare and is a certified person trainer, Physical Therapists in injury rehabilitation and loves to incorporate techniques such as circuit training, plyometric, improving flexibility, joint stability, along with proper nutrition needed for long term fitness goals.
Cristina is a Native to Florida with passion for the outdoors, she is a mother of two wonderful daughters (Chelsea and Candace) along with two beautiful Granddaughters and one handsome Grandson. Cris has retired and lives in Tennessee but still choses to support, work and volunteer for O2B Fun, Inc. THANK YOU CRIS!
Candace Nimmo – Board Member
Candace joined the Board in May 2024. She is a Florida Native born and raised! Candace has worked for 14 years with UPS/Brown now.
Candace is the mother of two young children, one beautiful Daughter Haley and one handsome Son Owen. Candace is also a Dog Mom to her miniature pinches Lola. Candace loves to travel and see the world.
Candace also relocated the end of 2025 to Tennessee but still choses to come, attend and assist with O2B Fun, Inc. we are grateful. THANK YOU CANDACE!
Brenda Hatfield Geanakos – President/Founder
Brenda brings over 30 years’ experience with events, festivals, fundraising and corporate meeting experiences to the table from Florida; Reston, VA; Washington, DR and West Virginia businesses such as March of Dimes; Chambers of Commerce and Tennessee Convention Center.
Brenda attended Marshall University in field of Insurance, Public Relations and Public Relations where she takes pride in volunteering for various other Tampa Bay organizations.”
Brenda moved to Tampa Bay area of Florida in 1997 and still resides here with her family (Nate/son; Catie/daughter-in-love; two grandsons Sam and Asher) along with Maggie her poodle. She has worked with Mark Merrill and Tony Dungy in 2007 through 2012 as Assistant to National Sales Manager/Father Kid Experience Manager.
